What is Image Clipping?
Image Clipping
Image clipping refers to the process of removing or separating specific elements within an image. Clipping can be used to remove an object in order to be placed in front of a coloured or a transparent background or even on another image. As a result, people, objects and backgrounds can be removed from the image. It is possible to insert additional image information – such as vector paths or layer masks – to continue working with them later. The most common reason for clipping an image is to draw a customers’ attention to a product, like on an online store or website, as the background could take focus from the product.
